We started out to raise Siamese kittens 13 yrs ago and found that once in a while we would get a long hair Siamese which we found hard to place. People did not know much about the long haired cat and did not want more hair in their house so no one wanted out little odd kittens. Little did they know they do not have the under coat of hair that makes a long hair cat tangle and hard to keep nice .The Balinese lacks this under coat of hair so they do not mat up and need any more care than the short haired Siamese. The silky feel of the Balinese fur is like none you have ever felt . So comforting to rub a Balinese as it feels like silk , add a purr and you have a wonderful relaxing lap buddy.
We bought a short haired cat named Mocha and she had a wonderful Siamese lilac sire named Charmin. They both Mocha and Charmin carry the Balinese or long haired gene and when bred together procuced a beautiful Balinese kitten. We aquired our first Balinese from this pair . Kashia , and then our Jasmine . Meshia is our short haired daughter that carries this long hair gene and when bred with a male that caries it as well will produce a very beautiful Balinese. From there we have gotten our start in the Balinese line. We now have Meshia and Jasmine who are daughters to the famous pair and they both produce our Balinese babies although Meshia only once in a while. . I hope you injoy our photos as I add them to this page of my web site.
